The Big Chill is not your average, local band. The band is composed of some of the best Musicians and Composers in the Philadelphia region. All members hold advanced degrees in the study, composition and performance of Music and are active members of the local music scene. From teaching at area high schools and universities, playing local events and private parties, and playing and recording with renowned artists, the Big Chill Band is a group of skilled, dedicated, professional Musicians. Members of the Big Chill have played with artists such as Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, The Temptations, President Bill Clinton, Willie Nelson, Celine Dion, Grover Washington Jr., Chuck Mangione, and the Philly Pops. In addition they have been playing and recording together as a group for over ten years. The Big Chill offers covers in Motown, Classic and Modern Rock, Pop, Disco, Funk Jazz, Swing, and Original Music.
